A renovation project completed in 2019. The original single storey home was remodelled into a double storey by the addition of private spaces on to a second storey. The footprint of the home remained largely the same. The built area is approximately 780m². As the home already had large open spaces to work with, our brief was to modify and align it with the owners’ accommodation requirements. The home uses solar energy and the roofs are designed in such a way that rainwater harvesting is possible.
